Making the Plan Real

The process to date has identified the importance of rooting the Plan in the "Sacred Trust" and "The Teachings", which define the Esquimalt Nation as a unique community. The benefits of this approach include:

• Protecting the Land, Water and Resources
• Expanding the knowledge of traditional heritage
• Building skills in the community
• Taking advantage of economic opportunities in meaningful ways
