Leadership

In the spring of 2015, Esquimalt Nation Leadership and staff worked together to determine the specific goals and activities that required to be undertaken to achieve the Nation's vision and mission as expressed by the Community in the Comprehensive Community Plan. 

In 2019, Esquimalt Nation adopted an Election Code and the first ever Chief and Council election occured. A subsequent election was held in October, 2023, which resulted in a new Chief, and all new Councillors.
