Human Resources (HR) Manager

Human Resources Manager

Full-time (32-40 hours/week)

Permanent 

$31.48-$39.86/hour 

The Human Resource (HR) Manager is responsible for the overall functions of the HR department including hiring, administering pay and benefits, disciplinary processes, and professional development for a team of 30 + staff. The HR Manager will draft and revise policies, oversee HR projects, enforce, and recommend changes to internal procedures and will continue to develop the Nation’s internal capacity through performance management and exemplary recruitment processes. The HR Manager is also a key member of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee.

Housing and Public Works Manager

The Housing and Public Works Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and maintenance of housing projects and public infrastructure for Esquimalt Nation. This role requires strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a thorough understanding of housing policies and construction regulations. The Housing and Public Works Manager ensures the efficient utilization of resources, timely completion of projects, and the provision of safe and sustainable housing. This position is a member of the Management Team.

Executive Assistant

Executive Assistant 

Full-time (32-40 hours/week)

The Executive Assistant to the Executive Director provides confidential administrative and secretarial support and manages the day-to-day administrative functions of the Executive Director to ensure accurate and timely delivery of administrative services. S/he coordinates the flow of information, communicates internally and externally to respond to inquiries and clarify details, coordinates appointments and meetings, prepares and processes documents and information, assists in budget development and monitors expenditures, arranges travel and accommodation, provides project support, tracks and records meetings and intakes referrals/requests on behalf of the Executive Director.
